MANNEKEN-PIS WEARING THE SUIT
YOU GAVE HIM ?
Why not ?
The societies, fraternities, groups... who have donated a suit to Manneken Pis
can request that he wear their suit for a special occasion, a birthday or other
important event.
First of all get started early (at least three months in advance). We hope
you're not too late reading this.
Requests for our Manneken to wear a suit must be approved by a Commission that
meets only once a month. There are already many bookings in the agenda of
our Manneken and he never wears more than two different suits per day.

Nicolas, the official dresser of Manneken Pis will be very happy to make sure
that on your special day our Manneken wears the suit you gave him.
More often than not a request for our Manneken to wear a suit goes together with
a greeting: the members of the group come to see our Manneken in his beautiful
suit. Quite often they wear the same uniform.
If you and your group intend to come for a greeting please mention
it to Nicolas. He will get in touch with the Order of the Friends of
Manneken Pis and they will be happy to welcome you on the Grand'Place or in
front of the statue.
You might wish to be accompanied for your greeting by a few musicians.
You can bring your own or you might want to call upon the
Meyboom Band.
We recommend them most highly. Please hurry and contact Mrs. Nadia Luypaert

it's not for no reason the Meyboom Band has a very full agenda.
