His wife Marie was born in Aalter on 20.7.1881.  She died in Wingene on 14.1.1965.
Raymond was a merchant.

  2. Frans Van Hootegem
    ° Wingene 13.2.1923
    Frans was CEO of the Self Employed Education Institute (Middenstandsopleiding), the forerunner of SYNTRA Flanders).
    On 4.2.1953 he married Georgette De Langhe (° Ruiselede 12.4.1930)
    He died in Asse on 21.8.2010.
    They had two children:
    • Philippe Van Hootegem
      ° Kortrijk 4.6.1955
      Prof. Dr. Ph. Van Hootegem was gastroenterologist at the AZ (General Hospital) Saint-Lucas, Bruges from 1986 until 2021.  He was in charge of the service of Internal Medecine in that same hospital and also visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Medecine of the Catholic University of Leuven and apprentice master gastroenterology at the K.U.L.
      Married on 27.9.1980 to Maria Van Hoey (° 10.8.1956)
      Three children:

        ° 2.8.1983
      • Peter Van Hootegem
        ° 1.10.1989
      • Joris Van Hootegem
        ° 22.11.1992
    • Sabine Van Hootegem
      ° Kortrijk 1.4.1958
      Married to Patrick Noyens
       
  3. Robert Van Hootegem
    ° Wingene 1.7.1924
    He was Wingene's town administrator.
    He was married in Hertsberge on 11.5.1955 to Judith Pyfferoen (° Hertsberge 6.11.1929)
    Robert passed away in Tielt on 9.3.1998.
    They have five children:
    • Henk Van Hootegem
      ° Tielt 6.7.1956
      He is a Medical Doctor.
      Henk and Fausta Dominika Ott (° Basel, Switserland 6.12.1953) are the parents of
      Joris Ott (according to Swiss law) / Joris Van Hootegem (according to Belgian law).
      Joris was born in Basel on 18.1.1991.  He has dual nationality.

      married in Denderleeuw on 30.7.1982 to Rita Redant (° Denderleeuw 18.4.1958)
      Wim and Rita have three children:
      1. Ann-Katrijn Van Hootegem

        Married in Wingene on 8.9.2010 to Fenja Dezutter (° Brugge 26.4.1979).
      2. Karel Van Hootegem
        ° Brugge 16.6.1987
      3. Anouk Van Hootegem
        ° Brugge 19.5.1991
    • Jan Van Hootegem
      ° Tielt 15.10.1959
      Married in Pittem on 8.8.1980 to Riet Desmet (° Tielt 13.11.1959).
      Two daughters:
      - An-Sofie ° Tielt 2.5.1984
      - Josefien ° Tielt 4.8.1986
    • Mieke Van Hootegem
      ° Tielt 5.3.1962
      married in Wingene on 7.10.1989 to Christiaan Delafontaine (° Roeselare 9.6.1962).
      Two children:
      - Gilles Delafontaine ° Roeselare 10.6.1992
      - Felix Delafontaine ° Roeselare 1.9.1994
    • Anneke Van Hootegem
      ° Tielt 9.4.1966
      Married in Wingene on 22.5.1992 to Piet Hoens (° Temse 13.6.1966)
