Mary was born on 17 Oct. 1916 in Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois. She was de youngest of the twelve children of Selena Camey Roush and Fernando Roush.

Julius died on 22 Sept. 1949 due to an accident in a coalmine of the Midland Electric Coal Corporation. As he was a WW II veteran he was buried with military honours.

After his demise Mary remarried in Moline, Illinois with Jonas "Clifford" Johnson. Cliff was born on 13 May 1915. He also served in WW II and took part in the invasion of Africa. His ship was shot up and went down and he floated in the sea for several days with a leg wound. He received a Purple Heart. He passed away on 1 Apr. 1987.
Mary passed away in Kewanee, Henry County on 8 Apr. 2011.

Dick was born on 10 May 1934, south of Galva, the son of Vincent and Viola (Carlberg) Strand.
They were farmers. But he was also honored with 65 years of service to the electrical brotherhood as Journeyman Wireman Electrician.
Richard died on Sunday, 13 Dec. 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
They had four daughters:

- Jacqueline Strand
  x John Boelens
- Jennifer Strand
On Richard's death there were four grandsons, four granddaughters; eleven great grandchildren and one arriving any day; and two step great grandchildren.

Ron was an airline pilot.

Mary also had two children with her second husband Cliff Johnson:
