Sofie, Leonardus' second wife, was born in Bassevelde on 6 Apr. 1810; she passed away in St-Jan-in-Eremo on 29 Dec. 1881.
Leonardus died in St-Jan-in-Eremo in the Krabbe quarter on 21 Sept. 1881.

x Sint-Jan-in-Eremo 30/8/1871 Carolus Ludovicus D’huyvetter. He was born there on 28/11/1842, the son of farmer Bruno and Antonia Haverbeke. Daughter Maria was recognized when they married.
They went to live in the Kerselare quarter in Kaprijke.

She gave birth on 2 Jan. 1869 in Kaprijke to a daughter Prudentia, who was recognized when her mother got married in Kaprijke on 2 May 1872 to merchant Petrus Velge (° Kaprijke 4 June 1846), son of Joannes and Maria Theresia Antheunis.
On 12/4/1893 Prudentia was married in Kaprijke to Engelbertus Landuyt (° Kaprijke 29/5/1869), son of Ferdinandus and Amelia Rosalia Genneberg. They were labourers. Her father was described as merchant and innkeeper and her mother as housekeeper.
