Petrus was labourer, poultry farmer at the time of his marriage and later merchant.

He married in Watervliet on 30 Oct. 1865 with maidservant Amelia De Coeyer (ook Coeyers) who was born in Bassevelde on 26 Sept. 1840, the daughter of landowner Dominicus and Monica De Causemaecker.  They lived in the Kerselare quarter of Kaprijke.

   Married in Kaprijke on 3 Oct. 1888 with farmer Petrus Dauwe who was born in Kaprijke on 19 June 1865, son of merchant Paulus Dauwe and Clamentia Francke.

   Labourer.
   Married in Kaprijke on 26 Nov. 1902 to merchant Petrus Bernardus Van Hecke (° Yzendijke 10 Sept. 1875), son of Bruno and Theresia Sophia De Baene.  She had given birth in Kaprijke on 17 Jan. 1797 of twins Raymond and Palmyre, who were recognized when their mum got married.
    
5. Maria Windey
   ° Kaprijke 16 July 1873
   Married in Kaprijke to farmer (later innkeeper and shopkeeper) Karolus Ludovicus Ryckaert who was born in Bassevelde on 7 Nov. 1874, son of Ivo and Maria Theresia Vervenne.
   She passed away in Sint-Laureins on 15 Mar. 1968.
