Josephina was married in Boekhoute on 6-4-1910 to René Theofiel De Vleesschauwer, a labourer who was born there on 7-7-1886, the son of Theofiel De Vleesschauwer and Mathilde Maes. They went to live in the Graafjansdijk hamlet. They exploited a small farm and René was also coal merchant. He passed away on 2 July 1979.

Josephina and Theophiel had 3 children:

The godparents were Arthur Aloysius Noë and Mathilde Maes.
He was a coal merchant and lived in Boekhoute, Posthoorn, 14.
He married in Assenede on 4 May 1939, at 26 with Esther De Mey (22 years old), born in Assenede on 26 February 1917.
He died in Boekhoute on 18 April 1994 and was buried there on 23 April.
He was a War Veteran and WW II POW. He was cofounder of BVBA De Vleesschauwer. (BVBA is similar to Ltd. or Inc. or plc.).
Arthur and Esther have 3 children:
- Noël De Vleesschauwer
  born in Assenede on 25 December 1941.
  He was a bank manager Landbouwkrediet (Landbouw = agriculture and krediet = credit) and civil servant of the province.
  He lives in Boekhoute.
  He was also alderman of Public Works from 1970 to 1976 in Boekhoute and alderman of Public Works from 1977 to 1982 of Greater Assenede as we call the town after the great merger that the government organised without ever asking the advice of those concerned.
  He married on 22 May 1965, aged 23, with Huguette Emma Verloock (27 years old), school teacher, born in Sint Laureins on 10 January 1938. She was the daughter of Andreas Verloock (agricultural contractor) and Irma Augusta Veireman.
  Noël and Huguette had two children:
  - Hilde De Vleesschauwer
    born in Eeklo on 27 April 1967.
    Zij was Master of Laws and worked for the Finance Department of the Belgian Federal Government.
    She lived together with Rik Dhoest. Hilde and Rik have a daughter Ellen Dhoest.
    Hilde died in Brussels on 3 January 2006, she was buried in Boekhoute on 7 January.

  - Koen De Vleesschauwer
    born on 16 April 1974.
    He married Véronique Desmet.
    Koen and Véronique have two children:
    1. Ine De Vleesschauwer,
    2. Tibe De Vleesschauwer
- Daniël Theophiel De Vleesschauwer
  born in Boekhoute on 13 September 1945.
  He married Marie Christine Augustine Matthys (° Assenede 25/6/1948), daughter of Aimé Matthijs (farmer) and Clara Maria Sophia Vercauteren.
  Daniël and Marie had 3 children:
  - Sabine Clara De Vleesschauwer
    born on 22 May 1971.
    She lives in Assenede.
  - Veerle De Vleesschauwer
    born on 22 December 1975.
    She is married to Koen De Pauw.
    Veerle and Koen have two children:
    - Ferre De Pauw.
    - Fiel De Pauw.
  - Wim De Vleesschauwer
    ° 13 February 1979
    He lives in Assenede.
- Gabriël De Vleesschauwer
  ° 20 October 1949
Petrus Fedelis De Vleesschauwer
° Boekhoute 18 May 1920.
He was 26 years old when he married in Gentbrugge on 1 June 1946 with Melanie Jeanne De Langhe.
He died before April 1994.
Simonne Augusta De Vleesschauwer
° Boekhoute 3 January 1925.
She was 22 years old when she was married in Boekhoute on 2 August 1947, to René Vermeir.
She was widowed and her two eldest sons had already died when she passed away in home "Ter Linde" in Vilvoorde on Sunday 23 March 2014.
Their 3 sons:
- Marcel Vermeir x Jacqueline Quintelier
- Jacky Vermeir x Jacqueline Buyle
- Lucien Vermeir x Martine De Godt
